Career & JOb Opportunities

Since the start of Cape Cod Toy Library, Inc. as a non-profit organization in 2017, volunteers have developed the programs and served as staff. More than a hundred volunteers have participated in-person and remotely, including 20+ early childhood educators who helped curate the collection of 2,000+ toys and facilitated programs.

To prepare for opening the Toy Lending Library program, May 2022, a volunteer intern from Boston’s Simmons University Library Science program helped catalog toys and staffed our open hours each Saturday. Our part-time Administrative Assistant has been made possible by Elder Services Cape & Islands.. Thanks to grant funding, we have also been able to contract with early childhood educators to offer special programs at the Toy Library in West Barnstable and the Outdoor Play Oasis in Hyannis.
