Cape & Islands "Listen to Your Mother” - presented by Cape Cod Toy Library, Inc. - is a premier performance of true local stories that celebrates mothers and motherhood in all its complexity, diversity & humor! 

“Listen to Your Mother” will bring the community together and leave everyone a little less alone and a little more understood. 

Embrace this fabulous cast of 8 Cape Cod women sharing their personal stories managing daily life with children during COVID-19, mothering a special needs child, raising an adopted child, separating from children as they grow up, living with a challenging mother, befriending a mother-in-law, healing childhood trauma, and sharing a grandmother’s legacy. 

Our local story tellers are Rosanne Annoni, Mary-Jo Burke-Kelly, Stephanie Goley, Debra Krumholz, Karen McPherson, Jill Meyer, Joanne Callum Powers, and Vicki Summers. Our special featured guest is Holly Elissa Bruno, MA, JD, a best-selling and award-winning author, international keynote speaker. Her newest book: Happiness is Running Through the Streets to Find You: Translating Trauma’s Harsh Legacy into Healing.
